Some minor details are emerging about the Hyundai Santa Cruz production model, even though it’s still a few years away from dealership floors.
That’s if it’s even approved for production, but we’re expecting a verdict on this within a few short weeks. Given the positive feedback the concept received, we can’t see Hyundai not putting it into production.
According to various online sources, the Santa Cruz will be based on the iX35 platform and will have seating for five. Unlike the concept, the production model will likely have four doors, if only to make it as practical as the vehicles it will eventually go up against.
